I don't know where the inspiration came from for this design but I really like the way it turned out. It's so simple and just a nice thing to doodle away at with no constraints on how it needs to turn out. I think I'll be doing this design repeatedly. You can know that you've received a piece of my art because I always sign my art. I don't use my full name because my last name is really long. I don't use my whole first name, Cynthia, either because I found that also got to be quite long especially on the small pieces. In sea glass mode. Busy creating some new cards. Doing some watercolor backgrounds. I learned through practice that white glass isn't very effective on a white card so if I'm using a white background I am coloring the underside of the white glass with my markers to make it "pop". 1/29/2024 0 Comments Testing of new paints complete.... Completed my test piece where I was trying out my new paints. The odor is much stronger than my Pebeo vitrail paints but at least I can buy it here. Happy overall with the colors. Haven't tried blending the new paints together yet. The orange mushrooms are blended with turquoise from my Pebeo set of paints. The next challenge will be trying to to blend the new paints together. I found an art store! It's actually a big deal in my part of the world. I would normally order my products through Amazon but the paint I use for my faux stained glass work is mostly not available or if it is it's 5 to 10 times more expensive from what I was paying for it from the Canadian art store. At this new art store in Puerto Vallarta I've found some new translucent paints to try as my faux stained glass paint. The downside is it's a 4 hour drive away so it's not like I'm going to get there often.
