  Sometimes I have an idea that sits in my head for a while and slowly develops. This is one of those ideas. A few days ago I drew the circles and then put the paint around the outside with the plan of it becoming a mandala. This morning I woke up with this idea of adding the colors within the circle so I'm working on that now and I have a feeling this will be a Zentangle not a mandala. But we'll see. It will continue to float around in my head and the creative ideas will come to me when they're ready.

Starting to get a collection of sea glass Christmas trees. Going to do one more with white and dark green and build some mini ones that won't be able to have lights inside of them. Then I'll take a little break from it for a little while before building more. Of course it all ends when I run out of glass but I don't have any fear of that for a while. On the other hand it may be quite a while before it ends! Every time I think I'm getting ahead of the game someone reaches out to me and says - your the lady that makes the sea glass trees, right? I would like to buy one, do you have any? It's like taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back - I love that the trees are popular!

I have been very inspired by my friend @bonny.watkins as she ventured into loose urban sketching so I've decided to try my hand at it. Looking forward to improving my skill but am happy with my first attempts. I always thought it would be fun just to be able to sit down, pull out a pencil and paper and draw what I see around me. As of right now it's not something I do but I'm starting to work on it.
