5/27/2024 0 Comments Lovely water color cards.... madelinekerrii has a tutorial on YouTube that I really like so I decided to do it again (for the cards on the right side). It seems my brain is starting to open up to possibilities. I'm not always having to rely on a tutorial anymore! That makes me very happy because it USED TO BE that if I saw it I could try to create it. Now it seems that I am able to think it and picture it in my mind and create it. I had a woman ask me to create a mobile for a wall in her house so it had to be fairly big for the section that she wanted. I'm laying out my idea. Once I tie it, it'll be longer than it appears in the picture but at least I'm getting my ideas out. It's got driftwood, seashells, seed pods and even some turtle scales. I need to change up a couple of pieces of driftwood and drill a few holes and then I'll be ready to tie it with a dark brown twine.

Working on some sea glass thank you cards. Since I'm using clear glass on white paper I need to enhance the image. So I trace the shape of the glass onto the card, then I color the shape and glue the glass over it. I love it when I get in the zone and everything comes together so quick and easy. Picking my pieces was simple and tying all my knots in the fishing line was extremely easy today- not always the case.
