I am travelling so I had to figure out the best and smallest type of art things I could bring with me. It needs to fit into the purple cosmetic bag.
I was able to find a great 4x8 inch watercolor book. I have my old pill tray that I converted to use for watercolor paints. I broke some of my watercolor pencils and put the paint lead into each container. More practice with my sketching. Still see where improvement is needed but for someone who thought I couldn't draw anything other than flowers I'm quite happy with my progress. Not sure if I'm going to add color to these so for now they will remain as they are.

I am continuing to practice my sketching. I go onto Pixabay and find a picture that interests me then try to sketch it. It's great practice and I can see where the improvement needs to be focused on when I put the original along side my sketch. Not sure where my preference lays but I seem to enjoy doing buildings.

Of course that means accepting what is created and then learning from it. I can see that I have a long way to go but at least I am trying and improving each time. I need a lot of improvement on the proportions. I was using my sketch book and then decided to add some watercolor - the paper was not the right quality to use watercolor on - oh well as I said it's just practice.
