 Love this quick and easy Christmas card design! Cut out a Christmas tree shape, place either the cut out piece (left) or the piece with the hole (right) on top of a white card. Then use a toothbrush to splatter paint on the card to get the cool result shown on the bottom. 7/28/2024 0 Comments Hand crafted Christmas cards....  It's Christmas in July .... well at least for my art creations. Time to get some stock on hand for the fall market season. Have been working on sea glass Christmas trees and wreaths and now I'm starting to paint some Christmas cards. I love this idea of using a toilet paper roll to outline oval ornament shapes.

I form them around the jars and white candles then the completed trees will be hollow which allows for twinkle lights to be put inside. They look soooo pretty lit up - especially with multi color lights in the white trees. Completed the first of my sea glass Christmas wreaths. They are small wreaths - only about 15 cm. across. I added a few small red and white beads just to add a little color and I had enough solid white pieces of glass to create the bows.

7 years ago I had NO IDEA that there was an artist lurking within me. In early 2018 I was introduced to an artist on Instagram from Australia who makes the most beautiful art by putting dots on rocks. I looked at it and was truly inspired. I thought how hard can it be to put dots on a ROCK . I had never felt that I was artistic at all but this woman has changed me forever! So I began. In late 2019 my sister in law introduced me to another Instagram person who is a famous coloring book illustrator. Drawing is another thing I didn't think I could do but thanks to the inspiration I received from this woman I picked up a pencil and PAPER and have discovered that I actually can draw.
