8/3/2024 0 Comments Working on my fonts.... I'm making a conscious effort to try to create smaller, more delicate fonts. I don't have any fancy program to help me, it's all done free hand. I have some font styles on my word program and there's this cool online site 1001 Fonts where I can type in what words I want and see it in different styles. Then I just get my pencil out, have a look at it and basically try to "draw" the written words I like. It's quite the process but I'm always pleased with the result but I must admit that sometimes it takes me a really long time to decide on the font to use.

Cut out a Christmas tree shape, place either the cut out piece (left) or the piece with the hole (right) on top of a white card. Then use a toothbrush to splatter paint on the card to get the cool result shown on the bottom. It's Christmas in July .... well at least for my art creations. Time to get some stock on hand for the fall market season. Have been working on sea glass Christmas trees and wreaths and now I'm starting to paint some Christmas cards. I love this idea of using a toilet paper roll to outline oval ornament shapes.

I'm having lots of fun with this new style of cards I'm creating. This is such a great card design for when I'm not feeling inspired but still have the urge to create. It's a simple no brainer.
