5/27/2024 0 Comments Lovely water color cards.... madelinekerrii has a tutorial on YouTube that I really like so I decided to do it again (for the cards on the right side). It seems my brain is starting to open up to possibilities. I'm not always having to rely on a tutorial anymore! That makes me very happy because it USED TO BE that if I saw it I could try to create it. Now it seems that I am able to think it and picture it in my mind and create it. This is one of those ideas. A few days ago I drew the circles and then put the paint around the outside with the plan of it becoming a mandala. This morning I woke up with this idea of adding the colors within the circle so I'm working on that now and I have a feeling this will be a Zentangle not a mandala. But we'll see. It will continue to float around in my head and the creative ideas will come to me when they're ready.

It really intrigued me. Today I've decided I want to try and create something like this. So here I go. The far left is the original work and then you see my efforts. It's interesting how my confidence has improved to the point that I'm willing to try things with the understanding that it may not turned out as well as I hoped but I'm still willing to try and to share my efforts regardless of the outcome. It's all about the learning process along the way.
